CISDI supplies the high-tensile skin-pass mill for Baosteel Zhanjiang 2,250mm hot strip mill on an EP basis.

The SPM boasts CISDI-developed technologies of roll bending and shifting integration, straightener’s roll surface regulation, tension mill’s online regulation, and coiler’s strength control.

The SPM line has reached a more than 98% pass rate in terms of strip profile flatness, surface quality and coil quality. The mill equipment productivity is 95%, higher than Baosteel Shanghai’s SPMs for 1,880mm (85%) and 2,050mm (78%) hot strip mills.

The SPM line has 98% Chinese-made equipment and 100% Chinese-supplied process and automation control. The main technical indicators are leading the global high-tensile skin-pass mill sector.
