CISDI built FHS blast furnace 1 and 2 on an EPC basis, the first export of Chinese highly-efficient, low-consumption mega blast furnace technologies, standards and equipment.

The blast furnace 1 has been started up and producing with an annual saving of coal consumptions by 140,000 tonnes, a reduction of carbon dioxide emissions by 600,000 tonnes a year, and an increase of per capita labor productivity by 3 times.

More than 90% of the blast furnace equipment is made in China; CISDI’s no-bell top equipment is a technological breakthrough of foreign suppliers’ monopoly in this regard, and runs with outstanding performances over the foreign similar equipment despite a lower cost by 50%

The blast furnace 1 is producing with the state-of-the-art main technical indicators around the globe.
