CISDI is building a double-strand, high-speed bar mill for Chongqing Steel to an EPC mode.

Construction began at the end of April.

The bar mill features two split routes for producing 1.40 million tonnes of common rebar and fine-grained rebar a year.

One operation room will provide centralised control for the whole line.

Green, intelligent and cost-effective manufacturing will be achieved via applications of the single groove rolling and modular mill, full-line material tracking and automation control.

CISDI’s intelligent bar mill applications for visualised management, equipment online status, parameter monitoring and fault diagnosis are also being built in.
