CISDI Engineering and Equipment Manufacturing has won an order to supply main equipment for a new stainless steel annealing and pickling line 3 to a Chinese steel company.

Guangqing Metal Rolling Co is based in China’s Guangdong Province.

The line’s mechanical and hydraulic designs and equipment manufacture will be shouldered by CISDI’s engineering and manufacturing sections.

The line is designed to process stainless steel deep-processing products - series 200 and 300 - in a specification range of 2-6 millimetres in thickness and 600-1,600 millimetres in width.

It will feature a maximum speed of 240 metres a minute at its inlet and outlet, and a maximum speed of 120 metres a minute at its process section. These speeds will rank as the highest for similar production lines in China.

The project marks up another success for CISDI’s stainless steel processing tech and equipment for the high-speed, wide-plate processing sector.

It follows on from two latest similar projects in 2021 at Fujian Dingxin and Guangdong Xinda.
