A specialist team from CISDI Thermal and Environmental Engineering Co has dispatched a team of engineers to Daye Special Steel’s rotary hearth furnace site in China’s Hubei Province.

CISDI is building the RHF to an EPC mode and the team is engaged in construction guidance and operations.

This patent RHF is being built by CISDI to an EPC mode and is tasked for treating 200,000 tonnes of iron-, zinc- and carbon-bearing dusts a year.

Valuable elements will be recovered from the solid wastes, gaining both economic and environmental benefits.

Daye Special Steel entrusted its rotary hearth furnace operations to CISDI after being impressed by its solid waste treatment expertise and its successful outcomes for similar projects in China.

Construction is underway and the furnace is scheduled to operate in August.

A tailor-made operations solution prepared by CISDI Thermal will push the furnace’s capacity and efficiency standards.

CISDI is carrying out constructional optimisation and operations for Daye Special Steel’s rotary hearth furnace
