Construction of three main buildings at Sichuan Dazhou Steel’s steelmaking plant is moving on a pace.

Roofs have been completed and work is now being carried out on the buildings’ steel structures.

A new vanadium-extracting central control building features three layers of framework and will cover a total floor area of around 5,350m².

A melting central control building will have four layers and cover a 5,488m² floor area and a melting water pump house is being built with a single-layer framework and a floor area of around 2,067m². 

Construction has taken three months so far and the roofing stage has been achieved early - 20 days less than the contractual schedule. This milestone is a strong indicator for the successful schedule of the whole project.
