CISDI is continuing its commitment to Turkey’s OYAK-owned steel enterprises by supplying refractories for blast furnace 1 at Erdemir, the country’s second largest steel plant which produces over 3.50 million tonnes a year.

CISDI refractories were successfully supplied to Erdemir’s blast furnace 2 and sister plant Isdemir’s blast furnace 1 in 2019.

All products supplied met the exacting quality demanded by OYAK, one of the world’s Top 50 steel companies. All deliveries arrived on schedule even during logistical challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“CISDI is our reliable supplier and partner. Its products ensured the success of our furnace installations and operations,” commended administrators for OYAK Erdemir and Isdemir.

CISDI now hopes its successful supplies to OYAK will lead to orders from other steel enterprises in Turkey and the Middle East.
